SalesLogix WINS Microsoft Industry Solution Award for Best Mobile Sales Solution

Scottsdale, AZ (December 8, 1998) -- SalesLogix Corporation, developer of the award-winning SalesLogix® Sales Information System™, today announced that it has been named the winner of Microsoft's prestigious Industry Solution Award for 'Best Mobile Sales Solution'. Microsoft announced the winning companies on Thursday, December 3, 1998 at the DCI conference in Boston, Massachusetts. The winning products and solutions were selected by an independent panel of judges based on their use of Microsoft technology, specifically the Windows NT Server operating system and the BackOffice family of products, to provide tangible business benefits.

Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges who scored entries based on their use of the Microsoft Windows NT Server operating system and the BackOffice family of products to provide tangible business benefits in customer management. To participate in the Industry Solution Awards, vendors were asked to provide an example of a customer that had improved their business by implementing the vendor's solution.
